Time for Island Fever Showcase has come! Parrot Heads have started to arrive in Clear Lake for what will be a Great weekend at the Historic Surf Ballroom and Museum! The weather is going to be great! It’s still not to late to join us.
Just a few reminders:
-If you don’t have tickets for “Pirates and Poets” you can still get them at https://piratesandpoets.net/surf-ballroom. They will also be available at the door.
-There are some places that don’t take cards. Some places have ATMs available. The Surf Ballroom is now accepting cards, but there is no ATM available. There are two banks located close to City Park with ATMs. KwikStar Convenience stores have no fee ATMs in them.
-Bring your bag chairs if you brought them, especially to the Brewery.
-The Surf Ballroom is not enforcing their bag policy this weekend.
-You can bring food and snacks into the Surf.
-We have a lot of great silent auction baskets and items for the live auction. Bring your cash.
-If you have a craving for some sweets. Right next to the VFW is Cookies, Etc. with delicious fresh baked cookies. They also have a cookie ATM. Uptown there is also Charlie’s Soda Fountain. It will remind you of the old soda fountain days.
-There is a Farmers Market in the Surf parking lot on Saturday morning. Parking may be a little tricky for a bit.
-Sorry, but there is no shuttle running this year.
-If you are into antiques, there is an antique show in the park on Sunday morning starting at 9:00am.
-Travel safe and we will see you around Clear Lake.
