We sure hope everyone had a great July 4th and that some of you were even lucky enough to enjoy a 4-day weekend!? Is it just me or does it seem Summer goes by faster every year? We definitely hope you have been able to travel around and enjoy the many music festivals being held this Summer, along with the many house concerts also available. There is so much great music traveling around this country! The Isle of Iowa is hoping that you are looking at Island Fever Showcase in Clear Lake, Iowa at the historic Surf Ballroom and Museum on Labor Day weekend to wrap up your Summer? We have a lineup packed with many of your favorite Trop Rockers! Along with the full slate of performances in the climate-controlled Surf Ballroom, there is also plenty to do around the city of Clear Lake. Starting Thursday evening we will be hosting our Welcome to Clear Lake Party at the VFW with the Fiddler Band featuring Jimmy C Clark. You will want to make sure you get in early to enjoy this show! During the day on Friday we are hosting music at several venues around the city, all of which are within walking distance of each other. Don’t forget that you may have to get up a little early Friday to enjoy the two-hour cruise on the Lady of the Lake….she is an old-fashioned paddle boat. On this cruise you will enjoy the music of Bryton Stoll and Isabella Stefania, plus there is also a keg of beer included!
